Start a return from one sentence, with the order already found
Last updated 13 October 2026
A customer names what they want to send back. Rendel finds the order and the item from your API, shows the return with your policy, and starts it through your endpoint once the customer confirms.
No order number to look up
The customer does not have to find the order first. Rendel reads their recent orders as the signed-in customer and matches the item they named.
Starting the return changes data, so it waits on a confirmation card that Rendel's server builds from your return action.
In Halden, a demo app
Asked: “Return the Loopback Hoodie from my last order”
Answered: Here's the return for your Loopback Hoodie. Returns are free and the refund goes out as soon as it's scanned in.
Questions
Can it explain the return policy too?
Yes. It answers from your knowledge base and your own data, and cites only what you gave it.
