Start an insurance claim by describing what happened

Last updated 13 October 2026

A policyholder describes what happened. Rendel builds the claim form the request needs, fills in what they already said, asks only for what is missing, and submits the claim through your API when they confirm.

A form that takes shape as they talk

The form is built from your claim action's schema, so it asks for exactly the fields your system needs and nothing else.

In Shieldwell, a demo app

Asked: “I had a fender bender. Start a claim.”

Answered: Sorry about that. If anyone is hurt, call 112 first. Otherwise, tell me what happened and I'll file it on your auto policy once you've checked it.
