Rebook a traveller onto the next flight that makes the connection

Last updated 13 October 2026

A traveller asks to be rebooked. Rendel finds flights that make the connection from your API, proposes one on a confirmation card, and moves the booking through your endpoint after the traveller taps yes.

Nothing changes on a guess

The new flight and its times are on the card before anything changes. Declining leaves the booking as it was.

In Aerlune, a demo app

Asked: “Rebook me on the next flight that makes it”

Answered: Three flights from Frankfurt still get you to Lisbon today. The 11:55 on our partner Mareva lands first, at 14:10, and changing is free because the delay is ours.

Waited for the tap on: Move you to MV 517, Frankfurt 11:55 to Lisbon 14:10?

After the tap: Done. You're on MV 517 to Lisbon, boarding at 11:20 from gate B44. AL 889 is released.

Questions

Can it add bags or seats as well?
