Improve answers
Fill the gaps the copilot found, from the Improve page, and fix failing actions with a prompt it writes for you.
You added a feature, a plan or a rule in code, and the copilot should be able to explain it.
We added {a feature, plan or rule} in {file path}. Describe it to the copilot.
Type into What changed? under Sync with code, then paste the prompt it gives you. Works in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot and Gemini CLI.
What the agent will do
- Find the feature in your code and write what a user needs to know about it.
- Send it as a knowledge source under a name of its own, or update the one that already describes it.
How to check it worked
The source shows Ready on Knowledge. Test retrieval there runs the search a real turn runs. Then ask about it on the Test page.
How the sentence becomes one paste: Sync after a change. Most gaps need no agent at all, though.
The Improve page
Open Improve once a week. It lists what the copilot could not do in the window you pick, on the key the header is set to, and the fix for each.
Knowledge gaps are questions it answered with nothing of yours behind it, said it could not do, or got a thumbs-down on, grouped by what they share. Each comes with a few likely answers drawn from your knowledge, persona and app; one marked with a source title comes from that source, the rest are guesses. Tap the right one, or type the answer in a few words, and the console writes a knowledge source from it and indexes it. Not something we answer puts a topic away. A new way of asking brings it back.
Failing actions are calls that failed or timed out, grouped by action and error. An endpoint connected in the console can often be fixed there. One in your app's code gets a prompt for your coding agent: the action, its parameters, the error and the calls that failed, in your words, naming the one address it may call to reproduce a read. Copy it, paste it into your agent, review the fix like any other.
When the words are wrong, not the facts
Tone, rules and when to hand over to a person live in the persona, under Experience. The persona says what belongs where; Analytics shows turns, grounded answers and ratings per persona version, so you can see whether an edit helped.
