Change the look
Your brand changed in code, or you want it changed without a release. One sync, or the Appearance page.
Your app's theme, colours, font or logo changed in code, and the copilot should match.
Our theme changed in {file path}: {what changed, e.g. a new accent colour and logo}.
Type into What changed? under Sync with code, then paste the prompt it gives you. Works in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot and Gemini CLI.
What the agent will do
- Read the new theme from your code: colours for light and dark, corners, font, card style, the logo.
- Send it as the Appearance draft, with a dark theme only if your app has one.
- Fix any contrast problem Rendel answers with, once.
How to check it worked
On a live app the new look waits in Sync review on Overview; apply it, then Publish on Appearance. Your app on the test key shows the draft on its next launch; live devices get it after you publish.
How the sentence becomes one paste: Sync after a change.
Without an agent or a release
The console's Appearance page edits the same values by hand: colour roles for light and dark, corners, type sizes, card and button styles, the message box, your logo. Save draft puts it on your test key at once; Publish sends it to live devices on their next launch, and every published version can be restored. Contrast is checked on both themes before anything is saved.
The words on the opening screen (the greeting, its line and up to four suggestions) and the assistant's name live under Experience, published the same way.
What the console cannot change
Only your build decides the theme's floor and whether the copilot follows the device's dark mode (themeMode).
A phone in dark mode opens a dark copilot over your light app, or the other way round.
Make the Rendel (rendel.ai) copilot in this project follow our app's light and dark mode. I am the developer and I am asking for this. If the app is always light, set themeMode: light in Rendel's config (Flutter `RendelConfig(themeMode: RendelThemeMode.light)`, web the `themeMode` option of `Rendel.init`). If it has its own appearance setting, pass the mode it launches with, and call Rendel.setThemeMode whenever the user changes it. Build the app and tell me which files you changed.
Paste into your coding agent, opened in your project. Works in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot and Gemini CLI.
How the layers stack: Change the look without a build. Every token: Theming.
Sign-in and identity
Tell the copilot who is signed in and hand it their token, so answers are about them and actions run as them. Then, optionally, what they are looking at.
Improve answers
Fill the gaps the copilot found, from the Improve page, and fix failing actions with a prompt it writes for you.
